1995-2003: Eland Technologies (Ireland) Ltd. (formerly VTI).
Joined Eland as lead developer when company consisted of eight people and no permanent office (all on-site with customers). Contributed to company growth from 8 to over 80 and its eventual sale.
As Senior Architect for the last three years, I defined the architect role in the organisation and created the architecture team to co-ordinate all of Eland's product and solution design.
1989-1995: Irish Life Assurance PLC (now Irish Life & Permanent).
From junior developer to senior development support engineer, during a key period of downsizing from IBM/MVS mainframe to Unix and Windows/PC desktops.
Received BSc from Trinity College Dublin attending at night.
